1 June 2010: New CPD module on cell salvage

We're pleased to announce that our fifth CPD module is now active and online, and will be available for CODP members to complete until the end of July.

Blood conservation and intra-operative cell salvage was written by Danny McGee, a specialist practitioner working on the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service's Better Blood Transfusion programme.

These online modules are designed to help you meet HPC requirements for CPD. They should not be viewed as sufficient in themselves, but they can provide a valuable addition to your portfolio of on-going CPD.

The personal statements that you are asked for before submitting your answers to the modules can also help you to consider how to approach other CPD activities.
