The new July issue of the journal will be arriving on CODP members' doorsteps this week.
In addition to a two-page report on the annual conference, articles cover issues including social networking, perioperative care in Croatia, implementation of the WHO surgical safety checklist in one trust, resuscitation updates, resources for mentors and students speaking out about bad practice.
The peer-reviewed professional paper is the first part of a study of gynaecological perioperative care, the second part of which will be August's online CPD module.
The current online CPD module – Blood conservation and intra-operative cell salvage by Danny McGee – will continue to be available for CODP members to complete until the end of July.
