7 September 2010: New issue out this week

The latest CODP journal includes features on preparations for the BSc curriculum, returning to education to become an ODP, mentoring as a CPD activity, what to do if selected for CPD audit, HPC fitness to practise processes, the 'bottom line' on when to warm blood, and a clinical update on being prepared for difficult airways.

The peer-reviewed professional paper uses a care study approach to develop a holistic care plan for a HIV-positive patient due to undergo a pre-labour caesarean section.

The current online CPD module – A study of gynaecological perioperative care: part two by Sam Richmond – will remain available for CODP members to complete until 5 October.
